Artist Biography:Agustín Redondela (Spain, 1922-2015) was a Spanish painter who was practically self-taught and is considered one of the most original Spanish landscape painters of the 20th century. He held his first solo exhibition at the Galería Estilo in Madrid in 1945. His travels around Spain gave him a taste for landscape painting. His style evolved towards greater schematisation and a reduction in the range of colours. He was awarded the National Painting Prize in 1953 and a year later a grant from the Catherwood Foundation in Philadelphia. In 1996 he was awarded the González de la Peña Prize by the Royal Academy of San Fernando and shortly afterwards, in 1998, an anthological exhibition of his work was held at the Centro Cultural de la Villa in Madrid.

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
