Artist Biography: Miguel Ángel Barba is a visual artist born in Ciudad Real, Spain, in 1976. His work is characterized by a strong conceptual charge and an interest in exploring the limits of space and architecture through installation and sculpture.Barba uses a wide variety of materials in his work, including wood, metal, glass and plastic. He is also known for his use of light and sound in his installations, which creates an immersive experience for the viewer.The artist has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain and other countries, including France, Portugal, Mexico and the United States. In 2016, Barba was awarded the Sculpture Prize at the Albacete Contemporary Art Biennial.Among his most notable projects are the installation "Cascadas," presented at Casa de Velázquez in Madrid in 2017, and "Estructuras Líquidas," a solo show at Espacio Mínimo gallery in Madrid in 2019.
